JCBA Implementation Update
As a follow-up to the recent ratification announcement, we wanted to share a bit more information about a few topics.
· New pay rates were effective March 30. You will see the new rates reflected in your next regular paycheck dated after April 3.
· Signing bonuses will be paid on May 22. We’ll share more details about this payment closer to that date.
· As a result of the JCBA accrual changes, team members eligible for the vacation lump sum payment will receive the payout on May 22. Eligible team members will receive additional information closer to the payout date.
· Efforts are underway to align our pay methodology across workgroups. Keep an eye on your aa.com email for more information about changes to pay practices happening in the weeks and months ahead.
· We’re transitioning workgroups into a single timekeeping system over the next 12 months. More details will be sent to your aa.com email address as your group’s transition approaches.
If you’re considering one of the special voluntary leave of absence options or the special voluntary early-out program introduced on March 30, you will receive the signing bonus and vacation lump sum payment (if eligible) on May 22, as outlined above. Your participation in one of the voluntary programs will not impact these payments. Stay tuned for more information in the coming days and weeks.
